The cabin area in Skreda were in the beginning used by workers that worked on the tunnel between Vestvågøy and Flakstad. They were built in 1988. When the tunnel was finished in 1990, the cabins were rented out for tourists. In 2008, the cabins were bought by Rolf and Terje. Since then, more cabins have been built. Two new partners joined, which rent out boats and guided fishing trips.
In 2017, Lofoten BaseCamp was founded. We rent out modern cabins for those who wish to explore what the entire Lofoten has to offer. The most important thing for us is that our guests have a good experience, and we are more than happy to provide you with some local advice on what to explore in the area. We are also currently planning to open a new restaurant.
